Job Description


The successful candidate will join the Mantra Tanzania Limited To maintain, manage and monitor the licensing and approvals processes for both-exploration and mining.
Reporting Line:Country Manager
Location: Mantra Tanzania Limited, Dar es Salaam Office
Work Schedule: 45 Hours a Week, Monday to Saturday.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
•       Maintenance and tracking of licenses and JV documents
•       Ensure accurate and complete licenses records.
•       Ensure timely submittal of required government reports.
•       Monitor expenditure on tenements to meet Government and JV requirements.
•       Ensure renewal and re-application of licensing is completed punctually and on time.
•       Preparation of GIS maps arid database for licensing.
•       Monitoring of ground of interest for application.
•       Identification of owners of ground to help in JV opportunities.
•       General GIS and mapping support.
•       Preparation of weekly and monthly tenement reports.
•       Liaison with account in payment of licenses fees and annual budget for licenses payment minimum expenditure and JV commitments.
• To understand relevant legislation and departmental processes
Qualifications and Experience
•       Tertiary qualification in Geology or relevant qualification
•       5 years experience in the tenement management process
Knowledge and Skills
•       Good communication skills, both verbal and written
•       Knowledge of the Mining Act 2010 and its regulations
•       GIS and Database skills
•       Computer literacy, proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite
•       A valid Tanzanian driver’s license
