experienced individuals to fill the position of Production Editor- The
Citizen.
Description:
Main Responsibilites
Responsible to communicate with writers, editors, to ensure the publication meets quality standards and deadlines
Understand the subject matter of the work as much as they do the grammar and format;
Liaise not only with the managing editor, and fellow editors, but also with the printing and publication staff;
Keep
track of the various edits performed by managing directors and sub
editor, and maintain the final proof of the edited stories;
Editors also proofread and edit content and offer feedback to writers and other editors;
To choose content tht will be featured in newspapers and schedule publishing dates and deadlines;
Focused on managing a publication and its staff.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification
1-3 years experience in journalism
Degree/Diploma in Journalism
Proficiency in English.
